Aliyewahi kuwa mshindani wa shindano la Cocacola pop star na mwimbaji wa kundi mahiri la Joyous Celebration la nchini Afrika ya kusini mwanakaka Emanuel SK Motubatsi amefariki dunia siku ya alhamisi kwao Pretoria, Afrika ya kusini huku chanzo cha kifo chake bado hakijaelezwa ingawa kwa mujibu wa jumbe mbalimbali zilizotumwa kwenye ukurasa wake wa Facebook inaonyesha mwanamzuki huyo amekatisha uhai wake kwa kujiua, ushahidi unaotokana na ujumbe uliowekwa na mwimbaji mwingine wa zamani wa Joyous mwanadada Tebello Sukwene, pamoja na watuma ujumbe wengine.

Isn't so amazing how we just never think how it would affect others when we just take our lives? This is thee most painful thing I've ever felt... Every time I think that SK is gone I just go numb! I cry coz even though honesty "wena sk" ure a coward!!! To Some of us it feels like we have failed you.... #criesFlip!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hapa baada ya kuachana na Joyous akifanya mziki pekee.
Emanuel atakumbukwa kwenye kundi la Joyous ambako ameshiriki katika album ya 10 na 11 akitambulishwa zaidi kwa wimbo wa "You raised me up" na Sefefo sa moya" alizoimba akiwa na kundi hilo, huku kitambulisho chake ilikuwa nywele zake fupi alizokuwa ameweka rangi nyeupe. Moja kati ya sifa zake alikuwa na sauti nzuri sana iliyomfanya akaishia nafasi ya tatu kwenye mashindano ya Cocacola pop star mwaka 2003 kisha akaamua kujiunga na kundi la Joyous Celebration baada ya muda. Lakini pia marehemu alikuwa na uwezo mkubwa wa upigaji kinanda na vyombo vingine bila kusahau uimbaji.

A great impact in my life you had,even though I haven't seen u over sooooo many years I still smile when I think of that time... Beautiful person, kind smile, caring heart u had...
And a friend and a long lost brother...
Funny enough I knew where everyone who was part of company is... Except you.. Ive been asking about you and asking others where u are... And noone really knew... Found you only now on FB with thee saddest news ever...

Kwa mujibu wa jumbe hizo zinazoendelea kumiminika katika ukurasa wake inaonyesha jumapili iliyoisha alikuwa mzima kabisa kwakuwasiliana na marafiki zake kama kawaida ya uchangamfu wake. Kwa upande wa kundi la Joyous limeweka tangazo la msiba wa mwimbaji wake huyo wa zamani hapo jana ambapo baadhi ya wapenzi wa kundi hilo tangu enzi wameweza kumkumbuka huku wengine wakiachwa njia panda wasiweze kumjua ni mwimbaji gani anayeongelewa.

It is with sadness and grief to announce a former member's passing. He was popularly known as SK. Many will remember him for his solo; YOU RAISED ME UP. He was a true artist and commonly graced the cabaret and musical performances in theatrical appearances.
